With Sphericall Enterprise Softswitch, a hub fields applications directly through a wired infrastructure or wireless network directly to individual desktop computers. Sphericall Enterprise Softswitch is tied in to your business telephone provider, such as Verizon.

Handsets are available on a plug-and play connection so all applications are handled from one device.

Sphericall Manager is the core component of NEC’s next generation software-based IP communications solutions.

Sphericall Manager provides a complete set of tools to help manage, maintain and monitor an organization’s system.

It includes an easy-to-use GUI, which supports a wide range of capabilities, such as flexible number planning; call accounting, rights-based security, and Class-of-Service profiles. These features are just some of the extensive library of options offered by Sphericall Manager.

Included in Sphericall Manager is a powerful reporting tool with the ability to analyze call performance, track call volume and monitor resource usage.

Sphericall Manager supports many features in a single integrated environment, while other vendors’ solutions frequently require multiple external servers.

Music on hold, announcements, multi-lingual auto attendant, voice-mail, unified messaging, rich presence engine, text messaging and call recording are some of Sphericall Managers integrated features.

This set of tools is included at no charge and should be bundled within the existing business voice system license or the Sphericall license.

A complete software development kit (SDK) is also available at no charge for third-party product integrations. Third-party integrations would include a variety of pop-ups or contact managers or customer database dialing.

Distributed-Software Architecture

Because Sphericall is part of an open communications infrastructure, it can distribute software applications on either centralized systems, or replace network services, so no single server becomes a point of failure.

This built-in redundancy feature offers true reliability in the event of network outages. Hardware costs are minimized because shared processing and load balancing provides maximum system availability. One Sphericall system has the capacity to support as many as 30,000 ports.
